Closing Notice

After a glorious life spanning more than 50 years dedicated to promoting amateur astronomy, the Skokie Valley Astronomers club has reluctantly decided to close. Thanks to all who have celebrated the hobby of amateur astronomy with us. Please consider joining another local astronomy club (see list below) and keep looking up at the night sky!

If you'd like to become a member, you can pick up a membership form at any meeting, or click here for a PDF version of the form. Print it, fill it out and mail it to the name and address shown at the bottom of the form.

All of our meetings are open to the public; you don't have to be a member to attend. If you're interested in amateur astronomy, or even if you're just curious, please come to one of our meetings.
