Closing Notice

After a glorious life spanning more than 50 years dedicated to promoting amateur astronomy, the Skokie Valley Astronomers club has reluctantly decided to close. Thanks to all who have celebrated the hobby of amateur astronomy with us. Please consider joining another local astronomy club (see list below) and keep looking up at the night sky!

The Star Gazette

Each month, the Skokie Valley Astronomers create our announcement newsletter, “The Star Gazette”, for all paid members. If you'd like to receive the newsletter free for a few months, you can fill out a membership form and check “Guest, Star Gazette newsletter only (free for a few months)”.

You can pick up a membership form at any meeting, or click here for a PDF version of the form. Print it, fill it out and mail it to the name and address shown at the bottom of the form.

Each newsletter has two parts. The first is the meeting announcement contributed by Dale Dellutri, and the second is the “Business Bits” contributed by Gretchen Patti, the club's founder.
