Images from Peter Donnelly

Peter Donnelly contributed the following movie from his trip to a location about 50 miles east of Nashville, TN on August 21, 2017. He reported (edited): "The start of the total eclipse was just before 12:29 and lasted for 2 min 39 sec. The drone was a Solo 3dr and it was carrying a GoPro hero 4 camera. One thing I found interesting about this location was how few people were viewing the eclipse from there. The weather was clear, but clouds can be seen on the horizon, and I heard Nashville, which was about 50 miles to the west, had a lot of cloud. [An eclipse map] (shown below) helped me find this location. That and Tom Skilling's perfect forecast paid off for me."
